LIGHTHOUSE BAPTIST SUPPORTS OUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT
Our ceremony to honor the Jonesborough, Tennessee Police Department was held at 11am on July 4th on the courthouse steps in Jonesborough. In attendance was Chief Ron Street, and Public Safety Director Craig Ford. Several hundred people were also in attendance, and great support was shown by the community for our bold act speaking out on behalf of law enforcement. BAPTIST CHURCH - JONESBOROUGH, TN
July 4th, at 11:00 a.m. on the courthouse steps in downtown Jonesborough, Lighthouse Baptist Church will hold a public ceremony to honor our own Jonesborough Department Of Public Safety, better known as the Jonesborough Police Department. American's who are God fearing and love our country have watched in amazement as the chorus of voices denigrating and disgracing law enforcement have steadily increased in both volume and intensity. We at Lighthouse believe enough is enough. It's past time for the silent majority of Americans who do not approve of lawlessness and anarchy in the streets; who do not support any movement that calls for the murder of police officers; who are willing to condemn those who loot and vandalize and destroy both public and private property, to stand tall and firm and let our voice be heard. In our ceremony in Jonesborough, on Independence Day, Lighthouse will be presenting each member of the Jonesborough Police Department a gift of appreciation in the amount of $1,000. Come and join with us as we celebrate the birthday of the greatest nation on earth, and as we honor those who represent some of the finest our country has to offer.

Food Box Give-a-way
March 19th at 9:00 a.m. we will be distributing food boxes. Your box can be reserved by calling 430-7430. This is a drive by pickup, and this month we will have 60 food boxes available. Each month, Lighthouse is making available food supplies to the families of our community, showing the love of Jesus to all we can.
